🇮🇹💧🌿 L’acqua che dà vita alla carta di Amalfi 🌿💧
Nel cuore della Valle dei Mulini, il torrente Canneto scorre da secoli con una forza preziosa: quella di trasformare l’acqua in energia.
Le sue acque, limpide e costanti durante gran parte dell’anno, hanno alimentato per generazioni le ruote idrauliche che muovono i macchinari del celebre Museo della Carta. Grazie alla pendenza naturale del territorio e alla portata del fiume, l’energia dell’acqua veniva sfruttata per azionare le magliere in legno che lavoravano gli stracci fino a ottenere la pasta da cui nasceva la famosa carta amalfitana.
Un perfetto esempio di sostenibilità ante litteram: nessun combustibile, nessuna elettricità, solo la forza della natura al servizio dell’ingegno umano.
Ancora oggi, visitando il museo, è possibile ammirare il legame straordinario tra il torrente Canneto e una tradizione artigianale che ha reso Amalfi famosa nel mondo.
