Has summer returned...let's hope so at least for a few days! We've had rain and 6c for a few days.

Summer is still here and the coastguard "Landhelgisgæslan" has come into port this morning.
The view from the hot tub changes so many times during the day you never know what you will see.
Come and visit us and experience the slower pace of life that Iceland has to offer.

Come and soak for a while after exploring Melrakkaslétta, Ásbyrgi etc..We are the perfect pit stop for a rest before moving on ...stop a while and enjoy our little coffee shop...Kaffi Aðalsteinn
Of course you could book a room in the guesthouse and stay in Kópasker and explore the charming little town ...home to around just 100 people.
No need to book the hot tubs in advance ...just turn up. We are open every day in the summer from 10am until 8pm.

It's a beautiful evening..the hot tubs are warm ..the sea is waiting for you....come and enjoy the atmosphere here. We have a freshly made chocolate mousse cake...gluten free with lots of rich chocolate..plus a dollop of cream...what could be better?
Maybe a glass of red wine to go with it? Yes that's perfection.
If you see the open sign...guess what we are open!

If you see the washing out drying...the chances are you have found us!
The hot tubs are right by the washing line...just follow the signs to the reception and Kaffi Aðalsteinn.
We are a 30 minute detour if your driving the diamond circle.

The hot tubs are ready and waiting for you on this beautiful day. Open until 8pm today. Come and relax for a while...enjoy the hot tubs and maybe a coffee, cake or waffles.
We are an ideal stop if your driving around Melrakkaslétta....be sure to make a pit stop in Kópasker and experience the charm of this small remote village, home to around 92 people.
