All but one member of the PMOI’s top leadership was executed by the Shah’s secret police and the mullahs have murdered more than 120,000 members and supporters. Despite these horrific losses, the organization remains strong, cohesive, and the most formidable opposition to Iran's extremist mullahs. The PMOI supports regime change in Iran and the establishment of a modern, pluralist, secular, democratic government.
