This is a shocking statement for someone who claims to be a Christian. James, the Jewish Talmud (Gittin 57a) claims our Christian God, Yeshua (Jesus) is burning in hell in boiling excrement. The Muslim Quran requires infidels (those who refuse to submit to Allah, ie Christians and Jews) be slaughtered by the sword. So, what the hell are you talking about? Can someone send him an exorcist? The could be a case of demonic possession.

The problems in our education system are serious. Once in 2nd grade I mentioned ‘humans’ in a science class discussion about different species comprising the animal kingdom and I got sent to the principals office when I refuted her insistence that she was “not an animal.” Most of our teachers in this country need to be fired. The capable ones need to be better paid.

Every fact you know rests on faculties you can’t validate without circularity. Induction can’t justify induction; reason can’t vouch for reason; and if evolution selects for survival, not truth, naturalism saws off the branch it sits on (Plantinga). All empirical knowledge carries unpaid epistemic debt. Only one fact pays it: Jesus is the Logos in whom all things cohere (John 1; Col 1:17) — the ground of intelligibility, of mind-world fit, of the uniformity science borrows on credit. Other facts aren’t merely less certain than this one. They’re only facts because of it. Unlike other metaphysical first principles, this one left forensic evidence: a crucifixion granted by essentially every critical scholar; an empty tomb attested by women (embarrassing, hence unlikely to be invented); appearance claims from hostile witnesses (Paul) and skeptics (James); worship of Jesus as God within the earliest datable strata — the Philippians 2 hymn and 1 Corinthians 15 creed land within two decades of the events (Hurtado, Bauckham), far too early for legendary accretion by ancient standards; and crucially, men who died refusing to recant. What did they have to gain? Would you die excruciatingly for a lie? Do you know anyone who would? No other fact combines this evidential density with survival under 2,000 years of the most hostile scrutiny any claim has ever received. Jesus is God.
