دور ۲۰۲۵/۲۶ میلادی برنامه کمک مستقیم سفارت استرالیا هم اکنون برای دریافت درخواست‌ها باز است. برنامه کمک مستقیم یک ابتکار اعطای کمک‌های مالی خرد است که از طرح‌های توسعه نوآورانه، فراگیر، و پایدار حمایت می‌کند.

The 2025/26 Round of the Australian Embassy’s Direct Aid Program (DAP) is now open for applications. The DAP is a small grants initiative supporting innovative, inclusive, and sustainable development projects.

Smartraveller Update: Azerbaijan authorities have reopened the crossing on its southern border at Astara for 'exceptional' crossing by third-country nationals travelling from Iran.

If you’re an Australian citizen seeking humanitarian transit entry from Iran into Azerbaijan, apply for a visa (https://evisa.gov.az/en/) and contact the Australian Embassy in Ankara to register your details with Azerbaijan authorities and receive a border crossing code ([email protected]). You will need to provide your full name, passport number, your e-visa for Azerbaijan, and contact details for all individuals seeking to transit. If possible, please send a scan of your passport biodata page.

Waiting times at the border can vary significantly. Internet and telephone connectivity in Iran, including at the Azerbaijan border, can be very poor.

در روز جهانی مبارزه با کار کودک، دولت استرالیا بار دیگر بر تعهد راسخ خود برای پایان دادن به کار اجباری یا شرایط کاری خطرناک برای کودکان تأکید می‌کند. امروزه، ۱۶۰ میلیون کودک قربانی کار کودک هستند، که ۷۹ میلیون تَن از آنان در شرایط کاری خطرناک قرار دارند. این یک چالش جهانی مشترک است که مستلزم اقدامی جمعی و هماهنگ می‌باشد. 🇦🇺 استرالیا متعهد به حمایت از حقوق کودکان، از جمله فراهم ساختن بهترین آغاز در زندگی از طریق آموزش با کیفیت است. این کشور همچنین، حداقل سن کار را ۱۵ سال تصویب کرده و متعهد به حصول اطمینان از دسترسی همگان به محیط کاری ایمن و مناسب است. تعهد استرالیا به فراتر از مرزهای آن تعمیم می‌یابد و این کشور به ترویج لغو مؤثر کار کودک در سطح جهانی ادامه می‌دهد.

On World Day Against Child Labour, the Australian Government reaffirms its unwavering commitment to end forced labour or hazardous work situations for children. Today, 160 million children are victims of child labour, 79 million of them in hazardous work situations. This is a shared global challenge that demands collective, coordinated action. 🇦🇺 Australia is committed to protecting children’s rights, including providing the best start in life through a quality education. Australia has also adopted a minimum working age of 15, committing to ensuring everyone has access to a safe and appropriate workplace. همزمان با نزدیک شدن به روزهای پایانی جشنواره «ویوید سیدنی»، از هنردوستان و ذهن‌های خلاق دعوت می‌کنیم شاهد یکی از آثار برجسته هنر و نور در این جشنواره باشند که مجموعه نقاشی‌‌های «پادشاه دینگو»، اثر وینسنت ناماتجیرا، هنرمند بومی و برنده جایزه آرچیبالد را به صورت تصویر روی سازه نمایش می‌دهد. پرتره‌های ساختارشکنانه‌ای که این هنرمند از آراندای غربی آفریده، نمای بیرونی موزه هنرهای معاصر استرالیا را به بوم‌های دیدنی تبدیل کرده است. مجموعه نقاشی‌های «پادشاه دینگو»، به صورت شبانه به نمایش گذاشته می‌شود و نمادهای مهمی از قدرت، غرور، و تاب‌آوری نخستین مردمان استرالیا را از سوی هنرمندی به تصویر می‌کشد که شخصیت‌های تأثیرگذار تاریخ را نقاشی می‌کند تا پیوند میان رهبران، ثروت، قدرت، و نفوذ را برجسته سازد.

As the final days of unfold, we invite art lovers and creative minds to witness one the festival’s striking works of art and light presented through the architectural projection of King Dingo series of paintings by acclaimed First Nations and Archibald Prize winning artist, Vincent Namatjira. The subversive portraits of created by the Western Aranda artist are used to transform the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia’s façade into a spectacular canvas. The King Dingo series of paintings is showcased as nightly projections, featuring powerful symbols of First Nations’ strength, pride, and resilience by an artist who paints significant figures throughout history to draw out the connections between leadership, wealth, power, and influence.

Plastic has been an environmental concern since the 1960s. Australia shares this global challenge, producing 2.5 million tonnes of plastic waste each year, with almost one-third of the nation’s annual plastic consumption being single-use plastic. Yet the country is on a mission to end plastic waste, aiming for an 80% reduction in plastic waste entering the Australian environment by 2030. On World Environment Day, Australia reaffirms its commitment to taking measures to Beat Plastic Pollution. The Australian Government plan includes increasing recycling, finding alternatives to plastic, and reducing the impact of plastic on the environment.
