21st of May - Heroes' Day
Today, May 21, 2026, we mark Heroes' Day, a national holiday dedicated for honouring the memory of those who sacrificed their lives for Romania.
With gratitude and respect, we bow our heads before the Romanian heroes who fell on the battlefields and are buried both in the country and on the territory of other states. Their sacrifice remains a testimony of courage, dignity and devotion to the homeland.
By caring for the memory of the heroes, we keep the connection between generations alive and reaffirm the duty to honour the values for which they fought.

În perioada 21-31 mai 2026 va avea loc cea de-a XV-a ediție a Festivalului Internațional Shakespeare de la Craiova, desfășurată sub tema „WILL matters / Will Creates Matter”.
Festivalul va da ocazia publicului să experimenteze opera lui William Shakespeare într-o varietate impresionantă de forme: spectacole de teatru și dans, concerte, expoziții, ateliere, conferințe, lansări de carte și proiecții de film.
Această ediție va reuni participanți din 70 de țări, care vor propune 450 de spectacole și evenimente, între care interpretări remarcabile ale unor texte clasice precum „Hamlet”, „Macbeth”, „Othello”, „Regele Lear”, „Romeo și Julieta”.

The 15th edition of the Craiova International Shakespeare Festival will take place from May 21 to 31, 2026, under the theme "WILL matters / Will Creates Matter".
The festival will give the public the opportunity to experience the work of William Shakespeare in an impressive variety of forms: theater and dance performances, concerts, exhibitions, workshops, conferences, book launches and film screenings.
This edition will bring together participants from 70 countries, who will propose 450 performances and events, including remarkable interpretations of classic texts such as "Hamlet", "Macbeth", "Othello", "King Lear", "Romeo and Juliet".

بین 21 و 31 مه ماه 2026، شهر کرایووا از رومانی میزبان پانزدهمین دوره جشنواره بین‌المللی شکسپیر می باشد. دوره امسال جشنواره با شعار « ویل مهم است / اراده، ماده را خلق می‌کند» برگزار می‌شود.
این جشنواره فرصتی را برای تجربه آثار ویلیام شکسپیر در قالب‌های متنوع و چشمگیر فراهم می‌کند: اجراهای تئاتر و رقص، کنسرت‌ها، نمایشگاه‌ها، کارگاه‌ها، کنفرانس‌ها، رونمایی کتاب و نمایش فیلم.
این دوره از جشنواره، شرکت‌کنندگانی از ۷۰ کشور را گرد هم می‌آورد که ۴۵۰ اجرا و رویداد، از جمله تفسیرهای قابل توجه از متون کلاسیک مانند «هملت»، «مکبث»، «اتللو»، «شاه لیر» و «رومئو و ژولیت» را ارائه خواهند داد.

Agenția Română pentru Investiții și Comerț Exterior (ARICE) acordă 40 de burse cetățenilor străini pentru a studia în România începând cu anul universitar 2026-2027.
Informațiile necesare privind programul de burse pot fi consultate pe pagina de internet a ARICE (https://arice.gov.ro/1/burse-2026/).
Cererile individuale ale candidaților pot fi încărcate pe platformă până la data de 12 iunie 2026, ora 14:00, ora României.

The Romanian Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade (ARICE) is granting 40 scholarships to foreign citizens to study in Romania starting with the 2026-2027 academic year.
The necessary information regarding the scholarship program can be found on the ARICE website (https://arice.gov.ro/1/burse-2026/).
Candidates` individual applications can be uploaded on the platform until June 12, 2026, 14:00 Romanian time.

آژانس سرمایه‌گذاری و تجارت خارجی رومانی برنامه تخصیص 40 بورس دانشگاهی برای سال تحصیلی 2026 - 2027 را جهت ارائه به متقاضیان مقیم کشورهای خارج، اعلام کرده است.
