INSPIRATION:
Pigeon of Imam Reza shrine in Mashhad city.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The gate way has been designed so that entry and exit of any vehicle will cause changes in the structure which changed the aspect of design and it is like a flying bird.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
This construction has been designed so that when the cars passing on bump there is a bar under road which is going down by weight of cars that is causing the gear wheels to rotate and cables to be pulled. Therefore, with the arrival of cars to the site, the shape of the portal is being changed and gives us different views.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in April 2009 in Mashhad and non finished.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Structures holding are prestressed structure . We cover between metal movable structures with fabric structures . Steel cables that can gather and moving structures.

CHALLENGE:
The main challenge in this project was a social perspective. People thought that traditional architecture should be, not a modern architecture. Accurate statistics on regional climate research.
