The government is committed to delivering public services that work for everybody in the Kurdistan region. We’re determined that these should be accessible and transparent. A key aspect of this work is transforming our digital services. We will do this carefully - enduring transformation takes time and proper planning. Consequently, this process will be conducted in a phased manner; the public and businesses will need time to adjust to a new means of connecting with their government.

We had the pleasure of welcoming Mr. Eoon Gyo Shim, Consul General of the Korean Consulate in Erbil , and Mr. Lee Sunghoon, Head of KOICA Office in Erbil , to the KRG Department of Information Technology and Data Center.

The visit provided an opportunity to discuss the Kurdistan Region’s digital transformation journey, DIT’s key initiatives, and opportunities to strengthen cooperation in technology, innovation, and digital government.

The Department of Information Technology is looking for an Integration & Solutions Engineer to help connect and deliver secure government digital services.

We’re looking for someone who can:
✔ Support integrations with DIT platforms and shared services.
✔ Work with government entities and vendors.
✔ Solve technical integration challenges.
✔ Create technical documentation and guidance.

Requirements:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
✔ Experience with software development and system integrations.
✔ Knowledge of APIs, authentication, and modern architectures.
✔ Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
