ئەمڕۆ چوارشەممە ١٣ی ئایاری ٢٠٢٦، لە دیوانی وەزارەتی ئەوقاف لەگەڵ بەڕێز وەزیری ئەوقاف و کاروباری ئایینی، پێشوازیمانکرد لە مەتڕان مێرۆسلاو ڤاخۆڤسکی، نێردەی پاپا (باڵیۆزی دەوڵەتی ڤاتیکان) لە عێراق و قەشە بەشار مەتتی وەردە، سەرۆک قەشەی کلدانی لە هەولێر.
لە دیدارێکدا تیشک خرایە سەر چەسپاندنی پایەکانی پێکەوەژیانی ئاشتییانە و فەراهەمکردنی ژینگەیەکی ئارام بۆ سەرجەم پێکهاتە ئایینییەکان، بەتایبەتی خوشک و برایانی کریستیان لە هەرێمی کوردستان.
لەلای خۆیەوە نێردەی پاپا بەناوی پاپا وە سوپاسی هەرێمی کوردستانی کرد بۆ ئەو پێکەوە ژیانەی کە نمونەیەکی جوانە، هیوای پێشخستنی زیاتری کرد.
Today, Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at the Ministry of Endowment and Religious Affairs, alongside the Minister of Endowment and Religious Affairs, we received Monsignor Mirosław Wachowski, the Vatican’s Under-Secretary for Relations with States (Papal Envoy to Iraq), and Archbishop Bashar Matti Warda, the Chaldean Archbishop of Erbil.
During the meeting, the discussion focused on strengthening the pillars of peaceful coexistence and ensuring a safe environment for all religious communities, particularly our Christian brothers and sisters in the Kurdistan Region.
For his part, the Papal Envoy—on behalf of the Pope—expressed his gratitude to the Kurdistan Region for its exemplary model of coexistence, expressing his hopes for further progress and development in this regard.
