First 10 days of DhulHijjah and back bringing along with them infinite blessings. May Allah (swt) give us the opportunity to fulfill our rites and responsibilities to our best abilities. May he continue to envelops us with his mercy throughout and beyond these beautiful days of Hajj.

The first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are often referred to as the best ten days of the year.

As we enter the first 10 days of this blessed month, our hearts and prayers are with those undertaking the holy pilgrimage of Hajj during these days. While many of us are unable to make the blessed journey this year, there are still many ways for us to reap the blessings of this month.

Zakat - Ramadan 2021 update

By the grace of Allah (swt), the amount of Zakat collected this Ramadan has reached 63 families thus far.

Owing to Coronavirus second wave in India, the recipient zakat-eligible families received sealed envelopes with the zakat amount enclosed this morning in their homes.

Prior to this, during the early part of Ramadan, 40 families in need also received Food Aid (25 Kg Rice bag, 2 Litre Oil, 1 Kg Dal).

JazakAllah Khairan to the donors (friends and family of Qasim Foundation) and the volunteers (especially the Managing Trustee of Qasim Foundation).

Allah keep us sincere and accept all our efforts in Ibadah this month. Ameen.

Bismillah

“Qasim” is an Arabic word that literally means “one who shares, one who divides/distributes”.

We endeavour to inspire the true meaning of sharing and caring at Qasim Foundation. May Allah (swt) inspire us with the true understanding of Islam, help us emulate the beautiful example of Prophet Muhammad (saw) and his companions.

Established in November 2019, Qasim Foundation began with the purpose of promoting Islamic Education in rural community of Yerragondapalem, India. This was the birthplace of our father, grandfather and many generations prior.

At Qasim Foundation we are offering the following Services:

1) Qur’an Classes/Maktab
Providing Quran classes for Ages 5 and up, primarily for girls and women.

2) Sewing Classes
Enrolled 20-25 students from local community with basic or no experience in sewing.

3)Urdu Classes
Teaching basics of Urdu language for teenage girls and adult women.

4) Welfare/Foodbank (started 2010)
This has been an ongoing effort since the year 2010. We support families in the neighbourhood who face financial hardships. This group of recipients includes old people, widowed women, and handicapped.
