As a part of Swatchhata Hi Seva Abhiyaan 2026, “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath”, Shramdaan was carried out by one and all at RWF Employee’s Institute on 01.10.2026. In the Prabhat Pheri, a rally was organized to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental waste management in West Colony of RWF, flagged off by General Manager/RWF Shri. Manoranjan Pradhan. Nukkad Natak was also a part of the rally. Various PHOD’s, Officers, Staff of RWF and Children from KV/RWF were also present on the occasion.

As a part of Swatchhata Hi Seva Abhiyaan 2026, a Screening Camps for all Safai Mitras were conducted by Central Railway Hospital RWF which included Height, Weight, BMI ,Pulse ,Blood Pressure, Random sugar, ECG checked and General physical Examination done by Dr. Sandhya Sri K Sr.DMO & Dr. Neha Sr.DMO ENT. De-worming for all Safai Mitras was also done. 100 Safai Mitras participated in the camp.

World Heart Day was observed at Central Railway Hospital/RWF on 29.09.2026. Dr Harsha, Consultant Cardiologist speaking on the occasion mentioned that Regular health checkups needs to be taken up by everyone (remembering do it around one’s birthday), balanced diet to be prioritized, and regular exercise should be a routine. He further mentioned that “Challenge your heart at-least once a week, think positive , sleep well and stay happy. Try to practice a healthy way of living”.

As a part of Swatchhata Abhiyaan 2026, various activities are being conducted at RWF factory premises, Admin Building, East and West Colonies, Central Railway Hospital, KV School, Technical Training Centre, Utsav Kalyana Mantapa, Employees Institute, Officers Club etc. Swatchhata Pledge was administered; door to door canvassing was carried out to bring awareness regarding correct method of waste disposal and cleanliness, participation in shramdaan by one and all on 26.09.2026.

रेल पहिया कारखाना, बेंगलूरू में दि.23.09.2026 को हिंदी पखवाड़ा समापन व पुरस्कार वितरण समारोह का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर राष्ट्रकवि रामधारी सिंह ‘दिनकार’ की 118 वीं जयंती भी मनायी गई। महाप्रबंधक व समारोह के मुख्य अतिथि श्री एम. प्रधान द्वारा अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों को पुरस्कृत किया गया और हिंदी में उत्कृष्ट काम के लिए बिजली विभाग को राजभाषा चल ट्रॉफी प्रदान किया गया। प्रधान मुख्य बिजली इंजीनियर व मुख्य राजभाषा अधिकारी श्री अजीत कुमार आलोक के साथ-साथ सभी विभागाध्यक्षों ने कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया।

RWF Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation (RWFWWO) organized an Essay Competition on 13.09.2026 and a Drawing & Painting Competition on 20.09.2026 for the wards of RWF employees.
The Drawing & Painting Competition was conducted as part of the All India Competition organized by the Railway Women’s Welfare Central Organisation (RWWCO), with the objective of encouraging and developing artistic talent among the children of the Railway fraternity.
The Drawing & Painting Competition was conducted in three age groups:
• Group I: 6 to 9 years
• Group II: 9 to 12 years
• Group III: 13 to 15 years
A total of 39 participants took part in the Essay Competition, while 95 participants participated in the Drawing & Painting Competition.
The competitions provided an encouraging platform for the children to showcase their creativity, imagination, writing skills and artistic talent, while fostering a spirit of healthy competition among the wards of Railway employees.
Mrs. Meetika Swaroop, Vice President, Mrs. Meenal Prasad, Secretary, Mrs. Radha, Treasurer, RWFWWO and other members of RWFWWO were present to oversee the events.
