We are thrilled to share highlights from a high-level review meeting led by Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan, alongside Tourism Minister Shri Kandula Durgesh, focused on revolutionizing our state's tourism and eco-tourism landscape.

With a vision to make Andhra Pradesh a premier, secure, and sustainable destination, the government is rolling out several landmark initiatives:

🛡️ 'Tourist Police' Policy: Prioritizing absolute safety and peace of mind for every tourist and spiritual devotee visiting our sacred temples and landmarks.

🗺️ Identifying 200 New Spots: A joint committee has been formed to identify 200 incredible tourist spots across the state, ensuring facilities are upgraded to international standards.

💼 50,000 Green Jobs: Creating robust employment opportunities for our youth through eco-tourism initiatives.

🏡 Rural Homestays & Village Tourism: Empowering local communities economically by fostering hospitable, home-away-from-home experiences—inspired by the beautiful models of the northeastern states.

🌿 Global Standards for Eco-Spots: Special focus on developing iconic locations like the Krishna River gorges in Kurnool, Bairluti in Nallamala, and the flamingo breeding centers in Nellore.

Today, at the Velagapudi State Secretariat, we held a virtual stakeholders meeting with tourism officials, hotel associations, tour operators, wedding planners, entertainment park representatives, and social media influencers to discuss the growth of tourism in Andhra Pradesh.

Under the guidance of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu Garu and Deputy Chief Minister Shri Pawan Kalyan Garu, the Government is taking several initiatives to accelerate tourism development across the state.

On this occasion, we officially launched the “Holiday in Andhra Pradesh” campaign with the vision of transforming Andhra Pradesh into a globally recognized tourism destination. From Gandikota, Araku Valley, Visakhapatnam, Konaseema, and Tirupati to beach tourism, temple tourism, destination weddings, and adventure tourism — Andhra Pradesh has immense potential to become one of India’s leading travel destinations.

The initiative aims not only to strengthen domestic tourism but also to create employment opportunities for local youth and boost sectors such as hospitality, transport, home stays, and entertainment.

We are also working towards introducing airport-to-airport travel packages, attractive hotel offers, and curated tourism circuits to encourage visitors to stay longer and explore more of Andhra Pradesh.

Together, let us showcase the beauty, culture, heritage, and experiences of Andhra Pradesh to the world.
