This Summer in Andhra Pradesh, taste a legacy.

Known as the King of Andhra Pradesh’s mangoes, the Banganapalle Mango is more than just a seasonal favourite. Grown in the fertile orchards of Nandyal district and recognised with a Geographical Indication (GI) tag, it represents a rich agricultural heritage that has been cultivated and perfected over generations.

With its golden-yellow skin, naturally sweet flavour, firm texture and fibreless pulp, the Banganapalle mango has earned recognition far beyond Andhra Pradesh, becoming one of India's most celebrated mango varieties. It also occupies nearly 70% of the State’s mango cultivation area, supporting thousands of farming families and contributing significantly to the rural economy.

Andhra Pradesh Invites Partners for Its Next Aviation Gateway.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh, through Andhra Pradesh Airports Development Corporation Ltd. (APADCL), has invited bids for the development of the Dagadarthi Greenfield Airport in Nellore district under the PPP model.

With a Phase-I investment of ₹648.59 crore and a strategic location along the Chennai–Kolkata Corridor (NH-16), the airport is envisioned to strengthen regional connectivity, support industrial and logistics ecosystems, and unlock new opportunities for trade, tourism and investment across South Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

Spread across 1,332.86 acres and designed for Airbus A320/A321 operations, the project represents a significant step towards building world-class infrastructure that enhances connectivity and supports long-term economic growth.

Interested developers, airport operators and infrastructure companies may access the RFP and concession documents through the AP e-Procurement Portal and APADCL Tender Portal.

Building an Entrepreneurial State.

Recognising that MSMEs are the backbone of economic growth, employment generation and local enterprise development, Andhra Pradesh is taking a long-term approach to making entrepreneurship more accessible across the State.

At the MSME Growth Summit 2026, held under the leadership of Hon'ble Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu Garu, government leaders, industry partners, technology companies, financial institutions and ecosystem enablers came together to advance a shared vision: creating opportunities for enterprise at scale.

With a vision to develop 175 MSME and Industrial Parks across Andhra Pradesh, the State is building the infrastructure, ecosystems and support systems needed to help entrepreneurs start, grow and compete in a rapidly evolving economy.

The AMCA project in Puttaparthi marks a significant step in strengthening India’s indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities while reinforcing Andhra Pradesh’s position in the nation’s strategic technology ecosystem.

With an investment of ₹1,583 crore across nearly 650 acres, the project is expected to generate around 7,500 jobs and serve as a key enabler for advanced fighter aircraft manufacturing. More importantly, it lays the foundation for a larger aerospace and defence ecosystem with the potential to attract investments of up to ₹1 lakh crore in the future.
