I received the heartbreaking news that my mentor, Dr. Radhakrishnan Pillai, passed away due to a cardiac arrest.

Even now, it feels unreal.
Just yesterday evening, I had a conversation with him.

He was more than a mentor to me.
He was a guiding force, a source of wisdom, encouragement, and constant support during many important phases of my journey. Whenever I visited Mumbai, meeting him and taking his blessings was something I deeply valued.

His words, guidance, and belief in people have touched countless lives, including mine.
Some mentors teach through knowledge.
A few transform lives through their presence.
He was one among them.

Today, my heart feels heavy with grief and gratitude at the same time.
Grief because I lost a mentor.
Gratitude because I had the privilege of learning from him.

His teachings, values, and blessings will always stay with me.

My Atta garu, who lives in the US, traveled all the way back to cast her vote for him. But what I witnessed that day went far beyond politics. The moment she saw her brother, her eyes filled with pure joy, pride, and deep affection.
