🤖✨ Robot Making Competition – Vikas Saptah

As part of Vikas Saptah, a Robot Making Competition was organized to encourage innovation, creativity, and hands-on learning among students. 🚀

Under the guidance of Principal Dr. Smita B. Chhag and coordinated by Dr. Priya L. Mange, enthusiastic students actively participated in the competition and showcased their creativity by designing and making innovative robotic models. 🤖💡

The event provided students with an excellent opportunity to transform their ideas into working models while developing problem-solving, teamwork, and technical skills.

🇮🇳 Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan – Gujarat Chapter | Activity 🇮🇳

Government Science College, Veraval organised an activity on 14 August 2026 in connection with the Swadeshi Shodh Sansthan – Gujarat Chapter, focusing on the promotion of Atmanirbharata, Swadeshi education, indigenous knowledge, research, skill development and innovation.

The session encouraged students to understand the importance of indigenous knowledge and resources, explore research opportunities, and actively participate in workshops, seminars and collaborative academic initiatives. 🌱📚🔬

A total of 21 students (14 Male & 7 Female) actively participated in the classroom session and engaged in meaningful interaction.

Government Science College, Veraval observed Sanskrit Sahitya Divas on 29 August 2026 with
the objective of creating awareness among students about the richness, diversity and enduring relevance of
Sanskrit literature. As part of the celebration, 14 students of the college were taken to Shri Somnath
Sanskrit University, Veraval for an educational and literary visit. The programme was organized under
the guidance and supervision of Dr. Smita Chhag, Principal, Government Science College, Veraval,
and coordinated by Dr. Dhananjay Pandya, Sanskrit Nodal Officer.

Government Science College, Veraval celebrated the beautiful festival of Raksha Bandhan with differently-abled persons at Samprant Education Trust – Divyang Seva Kendra, Gir Somnath. 🪢❤️

The celebration was filled with warmth, affection and joy, highlighting the values of care, inclusion, respect and humanity. All the teaching and non-teaching staff members and students of the college actively participated in the celebration and shared the spirit of togetherness.
