Professor Manish Arora deliver a key note speech in International Photography Competition and Symposium on Gender and Gesture

Woxsen University, School of Arts and Design, Hyderabad, Department of Applied Arts, Faculty of Visual Arts, Banaras Hindu University and the University of the Creative Arts in England have hosted a photography competition and Symposium focused on the themes of Gender & Gesture on Friday, 25th July 2025, at Woxsen University, Hyderabad, Telenganag from 10:00 AM onwards.

The project brings together voices from across disciplines to reflect on gender representation through visual culture.

The symposium is designed to explore the intersections of gender and embodied expression, and it brings together scholars and students for a day of critical engagement and dialogue. The major theme of this Symposium is Gesture, Identity, and the Camera: Embodied Acts in Focus Gender and Gesture Symposium. This symposium is divided into two part 1st one is Key note and the Projects presentation related to G&G Theme and 2nd one is the Panel Discussion

On March 2nd, 2025, the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (Nisbud) inaugurated the Swavalamban Program, a dedicated initiative designed to empower women entrepreneurs, at Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut. This event, conducted in both physical and virtual formats, witnessed the participation of four esteemed universities, including Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
