Kashilk Producer Company, a Banarasi Saree weavers collective, at Surajkund International Crafts Mela. The stall showcases crafts supported by NABARD - U.P regional office. The Off Farm Producers organisation is promoted by NABARD and supported by PROW.

*First ever export of Marigold from Varanasi to UAE*
APEDA Varanasi coordinated with FPO based in Varanasi and linked them with international market. It was first of its kind from Purvanchal region where Marigold (flowers) export came in practice.
Chairman APEDA flagged the shipment virtually.

This painting is drawn by a 9th grader Ajunath Sindhu Vinayala of Trissur (Kerala). He painted this because his father continually introduced his mother as “she is just a house wife, she doesn’t work”. Ajunath was surprised because he never saw his mother sitting idle so he painted this to depict his mother’s daily routine and showed it to his teacher who sent it to the state govt office where it got selected as the cover for the 2021 gender budget document.

This really shows the women power through the child brush 👌👍👏🏻🙏

APEDA's Exposure visit for FPOs to enrich and felicitate the opportunities in Agri Export included 04 of our promoted FPOs. 05 day tour of Bombay, Nashik, Sahyadri FPC, Vashi APMC, MSAPB, Meeting with Exporters in Mumbai-Nashik, Legal Training and Know how of product quality and varieties.
02 FPO promoted by PROW signed an MoU with a VAFA - an association of Fresh vegetables and Fruit exporters.
