This is 30th August event at the IMJ section of APT in tradefair complex where members of imj blocks came out to stand for their rights against a militia group sent by the market CSO for reasons that, vthe imj section removed an illegal counter or make shift kios illegally constructed by the APT union at night outside business hours and members unitedly fought against it. The crowd you are seeing is as a result of the CSO also involving the Tradefair Police for arrest of one Mr Augustine a former vice chairman of the same union who styodchis ground for removal of the said illegal structure. The sad thing is that the union after of they succeed as in many other areas of the market to construct such illegal kios, end up selling them each for as high as N4, 000,000 without even putting the said fund into the unions account, instead they end up sharing the said fund amongst themselves. There are cases of financial misappropriation currently going on in the union and within the executives and members of board of trustees of the market.
