Today, the district-level Joint Advisory Committee meeting of the Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Federation was held at the Bachat Bhawan under my chairmanship.
Officers from various departments, along with representatives of the non-gazetted employees’ unions of the district, actively participated in the meeting.
During the deliberations, several important issues related to non-gazetted employees were discussed in detail, including discrepancies in pay scales and allowances, matters concerning promotions and seniority lists, workplace safety, improvement of essential facilities, and the construction of an NGO building.
I have emphasised that employees play a vital role in the administrative framework, and their dedicated contribution is crucial in effectively implementing government policies and schemes at the grassroots level.

Today, I reviewed the progress of the Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign 3.0 and issued directions for the formation of Nasha Nivaran Samitis in every Panchayat of District Una. During the meeting, special emphasis was laid on accelerating the ongoing efforts to make Una a completely to***co-free district.

While chairing the detailed progress review, all departments were instructed to work in a coordinated and committed manner to ensure effective implementation of the campaign.

It was decided that Nasha Nivaran Samitis will be constituted across all 245 Panchayats of the district. In this regard, directions have been issued to all concerned departments to submit the names of their respective members within the next two days and provide Panchayat-wise lists, so that the committees can be formally notified without delay.

सभी विभागों को निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि अवैध खनन में शामिल टिप्परों/वाहनों की नंबर प्लेट सहित स्पष्ट तस्वीरें प्रशासन के साथ साझा करें, ताकि जिला ऊना से अवैध खनन को पूरी तरह समाप्त किया जा सके।
इसके तहत जिला माइनिंग टीम एवं पुलिस ऊना द्वारा ऐसे सभी टिप्पर व वाहन, जो अवैध खनन या उसके परिवहन में संलिप्त पाए जाएंगे, उनके विरुद्ध न्यायालय एवं एनजीटी के नियमों के अनुसार चालान व आवश्यक कार्रवाई करेगी

पिछले कल जिला माइनिंग टीम द्वारा 6 टिप्पर अवैध खनन एवं परिवहन गतिविधियों में संलिप्त पाए गए हैं। इन पर न्यायालय एवं एनजीटी के नियमों के अनुसार सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी। जिला प्रशासन ऊना अवैध खनन गतिविधियों एवं नियम उल्लंघन करने वालों के विरुद्ध कड़ी कार्यवाही सुनिश्चित करेगा।

Today, I participated in the Tobacco-Free Youth Campaign 3.0, organized by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Una, which will run from 9th October to 8th December 2025. As part of this awareness initiative, I took a selfie at the specially designed Tobacco-Free Selfie Point, aimed at spreading awareness among the youth about the harmful effects of to***co and motivating them to choose a healthy and addiction-free life.

Let us all take a pledge to say and work together towards a — a healthier, stronger, and more progressive nation.
