Umarkhed is a small city and a municipal council in Yavatmal district. Umarkhed is basically famous for it's temples.

It is one of the entry gate of Vidarbha (from Marathwada side). In this city there are many temples out of which "TEEN DEUL" is more famous due to it's special characteristics. There are many picnic spots in and arround Umarkhed.
