Subject:- Jail Visit.

On December 18, 2025, a delegation from DLSA Udhampur, led by Sh. Virinder Singh Bhou, Principal District & Sessions Judge/Chairman DLSA, Udhampur, visited District Jail Udhampur. The team included Ms. Saloni Rai (Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur), Ms. Sumati Sharma (Secretary DLSA Udhampur), Sh. Pawan Gupta (Chief LADC Udhampur), and Ms. Diya Kesar (LLB Intern). Superintendent District Jail Udhampur, Mohd. Irfan Khan, facilitated the visit. They inspected facilities like barracks, washrooms, medical rooms, and the kitchen, checking hygiene and food quality. Interacting with inmates, they addressed concerns and ensured well-being. Inmates showcased their spirit with cultural songs and dances, highlighting their creativity. The visit aimed to assess jail conditions, identify improvements, and protect inmates' rights, reviewing SOP adherence and discussing rehabilitation measures.
