Udhampur, May 12: A review meeting under Mission YUVA was held today at the Conference Hall of DC Office Udhampur under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Shri Minga Sherpa, IAS. The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, General Manager DIC, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, District Social Welfare Officer, District Lead Bank Officer, DDM NABARD, District Nodal Officer JKEDI, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Programme Manager NRLM, Assistant General Manager J&K Bank, besides all SBDU members, BHD members and Motivators of Udhampur district.Also principals from different colleges and schools are also present along with their internal trainers.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Assistant Director Employment, Udhampur, who welcomed all the officers and participants and highlighted the objectives of the meeting and the importance of coordinated efforts for successful implementation of Mission YUVA across the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress achieved under Mission YUVA and assessed the performance of different stakeholders involved in the mission. Emphasizing a result-oriented approach, the DC stressed upon the “4C” framework — Credit, Capacity, Culture and Connectivity — as the foundation for successful entrepreneurship development and employment generation in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner further instructed the concerned officers to ensure smooth processing of cases, effective counselling of youth and enhanced awareness regarding self-employment opportunities available under Mission YUVA.
Various issues related to implementation, coordination and progress monitoring were also discussed during the meeting, and necessary directions were issued for achieving the desired targets within stipulated timelines.
