A two-day Block Process Lab (BPL) under Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan has concluded at Matabari RD Block.

In the BPL, Village Master Trainers (VMT), referred to as CHANGE LEADERS, from 13 Gram Panchayats/Village Councils (GP/VCs) representing panchayats and line departments, have been trained to prepare a visionary Village Action Plan aligned with Vision India@2047.

The action plans will focus on the saturation of all schemes and infrastructure in the earmarked DAJGUA villages under Matabari RD Block, aiming for paradigm change in the tribal-dominated villages.

Steps Towards Empowerment 🌱

An inauguration programme was held at Matabari Mandir for distributing movable carts to three SHG beneficiaries from Matabari and South Matabari GPs, supported by NABARD Tripura Regional Office.

The event was graced by the Hon’ble Chairperson of Matabari Panchayat Samity, General Manager – NABARD, District Development Manager – NABARD, Block Mission Coordinator (BMC), TRLM staff, and other officials.

This effort showcases NABARD’s continued focus on uplifting rural communities by promoting self-employment and providing essential infrastructure to SHGs.

Join Hands Against Drug Abuse 🤝

A sensitization workshop was conducted by the RD (Panchayat) Department, Government of Tripura, regarding awareness on "Drug Awareness and Manas Helpline @1933" on the eve of International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking.

The program was attended by respected elected representatives of Matabari Panchayat Samiti, pradhans, and panchayat secretaries of the respective GP/VCs via VC.

📆 Special Gram Sabhas will be conducted along with other associated activities to combat drug abuse among the youth.

☎️ The Manas helpline number 1️⃣9️⃣3️⃣3️⃣ will be used extensively to report instances of illicit activities related to Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances.
