Tuensang Police, Nagaland

Tuensang Police, Nagaland Tuensang Police District is located at the east – South corner of the State. Mokokchung. The post of S.D.P.O. was up-graded to an independent post of Addl. S.P.

It is bounded by Myanmar on the East, Mon and Longleng District on the North, Mokokchung and Zunheboto District on the West and Kiphire District on the South. This police district has approximately 180 Kms long International Border with Myanmar. The DEF Establishment in Tuensang began with the creation of the post of SDPO Tuensang by the Government in the year 1969. Accordingly, the office of the

SDPO Tuensang started functioning in the same year under the command and control of S.P. and separated from Mokokchung D.E.F. in the year 1974. Finally, the post of Addl. was up-graded to the post of full-fledged S.P. w.e.f. 04-06-1976. This is the official page of Tuensang Police, Nagaland. It is not monitored 24/7.
