On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, the Ferocious Third organised plantation of tree saplings and cleanliness drive at Battalion Headquarters and at Company/Platoon locations. The Unit Officers, personnel, staff, teachers and students actively took part in the programme, reflecting a collective commitment towards environmental protection, ecological sustainability and community well-being.

1. 35813 S. Khekhao Havildar (Operator) promoted to Sub-Inspector (Operator)
2. 35716 Phimong L. Khiamniungan Constable (Operator) promoted to Havildar (Operator)
3. 35757 Yirhonthung Patton Constable (Operator) promoted to Havildar (Operator)

In addition, in recognition of their dedicated service, commitment to duty and valuable contributions to the Department, and with the approval of PHQ Nagaland, Kohima, 8(eight) personnel of the Unit were also awarded Honorary Promotion to the next higher rank.

The Ferocious Third celebrated its 60th Unit Raising Day at the Battalion Headquarter with great solemnity and pride. The day commenced with a Guard of Honour at the Unit Quarter Guard, marking the beginning of the celebration.

A significant highlight of the occasion was the dedication of the “Lyceum”, a multi-purpose hall dedicated in honour of the Pioneers and All Ranks of 3rd Nagaland Armed Police Battalion, followed by a formal programme at the Lyceum Hall. During the event, the annual rewards for battalion personnel were announced and special awards were conferred upon 11 personnel in recognition of their exemplary service.

The Battalion also felicitated the meritorious students of the 3rd Battalion NAP High School who successfully qualified in the HSLC Examination 2026, along with their teachers, in appreciation of their hard work and achievements.

The 3rd NAP Battalion High School successfully conducted it’s 26th Annual Sports Week from 25th to 27th March 2026 - three vibrant days dedicated to fitness, teamwork and the overall well-being of students. Despite intense competition among all teams, Team Alpha emerged as the Overall Champion.

The event was graced by Shri. I. Bunglang Chang, NPS, Adjutant/Quarter Master, and concluded on a high note in the esteemed presence of the Chairman, School Managing Board, Shri. Hongkin Chang, NPS, Deputy Commandant (2 I/C).

From thrilling competitions to inspiring displays of team spirit, enthusiasm, unity and genuine sportsmanship, the Unit extends heartfelt congratulations to all teachers and students for the smooth and successful conduct of the event.

Workshop on “Teacher Enrichment” was conducted at 3rd NAP Bn. High School, Tuensang, from 16th–17th March 2026.

The programme was organized by the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Tuensang, led by it’s dedicated faculty members: Dr. Renemlila, Mrs. Bendanglemla, Ms. Venyilu Rhakho, Ms. Changlemla and Ms. Vimetuonuo.
