സാമൂഹിക ജീവിതം ചലനാത്മകമാക്കി അടയാളങ്ങൾ ബാക്കി വെച്ച് മറ്റൊരു ലോകത്തേക്ക് യാത്ര യായി...
ഹവാർഡ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ നിന്നും ബിരുദാന്തര ബിരുദം നേടിയ ബഷീർ കുവൈത്തിലെ പ്രശസ്ത കമ്പനിയിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കെ ദുബായിലേക്കു ജോലി മാറിപ്പോയി , ദുബായിലെ പ്രശസ്ത ടെലികോം കമ്പനിയുടെ വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ആയിരുന്നു അവസാന നാളുകളിൽ അദ്ദേഹം .
അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അനുസ്മരിക്കുന്ന ചടങ്ങിന്റെ വേദനിക്കുന്ന ഒരു വേദിക്ക്
സാക്ഷിയായി ഇന്നലെ മംഗലാപുരത്തുള്ള HIF ഓഡിറ്റോറിയം .
കുവൈറ്റ് കേരള മുസ്ലിം അസോസിയേഷന്റെ അമരത്തേക്ക് വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് മുൻപ് പതിയെ കാൽവെച്ച് കടന്ന് വന്ന BIG B എന്ന സ്നേഹാനാമത്തിൽ അറിയപ്പെട്ട മർഹൂം SM സാഹിബ് സമൂഹത്തിനു സമർപ്പിച്ച ഒട്ടേറെ സംഭാ വനകളും, ആത്മ സമർപ്പണവും അമൂല്യമായിരുന്നു .
മോട്ടിവേഷൻ ക്ലാസ്സ്, കല - സ്പോർട്സ് രംഗത്ത് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ തിളക്കമാർന്ന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളും, ഒപ്പം ചേർന്ന് നിന്ന കർണാടക പരിവാറും നൽകിയ മികച്ച ഓർമ്മകളെയും കാലത്തെയും അനുഭവങ്ങളെയും മറക്കുവാൻ സാധിക്കില്ല.
ഒരു സ്മരണികയിലൂടെ ബഷീർ സാഹിബിന്റെ ജീവിത ചരിത്രം പൊതു സമൂഹത്തിനു സമർപ്പിക്കുവാനും കർണാടക പരിവാറിന് ഇന്നലെ സാധിച്ചു..

SM Basheer, the vacuum you left behind remains unfilled..
Last time I met him was a year ago when I travelled to Dubai and he was undergoing medical treatment.
During my visit, I spent time with Basheer, who spoke softly and reminisced about Kuwait. Although I bid him farewell with sadness, I wished and prayed that SMB, who was known for his energy, would recover. Even after hearing the news of Bashir's death and attending his funeral, it is hard to believe that he is no longer with us.
During the time I met Basheer and his brother Farooq, they were members of the KKMA, a leading organization in Kuwait. Their family, who lived modestly, inspired many others.
There are two types of people - one is immortal means indefinite continuation of a person’s existence, even after death and the other who lost their existence while living physically. SMB was one of those who will be remembered for his positive impact and noble deeds.He kept his family and community close and served as a flag bearer of noble qualities of selflessness and kindness.
Basheer had a gentle and caring demeanor and was loved by all who met him. He often coordinated and compered events for the KKMA, showcasing his unique linguistic abilities. Even Basheer's walk would instill a positive energy in others.
Many of Basheer's colleagues from a large company where he worked contributed generously to the KKM's charity work, annually. Bashir's vision and resourcefulness in leading the association and implementing various projects set him apart.
Basheer was a remarkable leader with many admirable qualities, and his loss will be felt for a long time. Only Allah can determine our fate, and we can pray for Basheer's forgiveness. Remembering the good deeds of those who have passed brings comfort.
The love and compassion Basheer left behind continue to inspire us, and we will cherish them for a long time to come.
