NO ANIMAL IS SAFE FROM OUR ACTION!

From the Desk of

Protecting Cow Progeny: A Moral Imperative

No animal is safe from human exploitation - whether for food, clothing, or profit. The cruel fate of animals on fur farms is a stark reminder of this harsh reality. Foxes, minks, and rabbits are confined to small, filthy cages, deprived of their natural behaviors, and ultimately killed for their fur.

In India, the situation is equally dire. According to the Animal Welfare Board of India, over 10 million animals are slaughtered every day in India, with many more suffering in cruel conditions on farms and in zoos. The Indian leather industry, which is one of the largest in the world, is also a major contributor to animal suffering, with millions of animals killed every year for their skin.

As we work to protect and preserve our cow progeny, we must recognize the inherent value of all animal life. Choosing compassion and rejecting animal exploitation is a moral imperative. By refusing fur and animal-derived products, we can take a stand for animals and help create a world where no animal suffers for human desires.

In India, we have a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on animal welfare. By supporting organizations that work to protect animals, and by making conscious choices in our daily lives, we can help create a more compassionate society.

Let us strive to create a world where animals are treated with respect, kindness, and compassion. Together, we can make a difference and ensure a brighter future for all animals, including our beloved cow progeny.

Some statistics to consider:

- Over 10 million animals are slaughtered every day in India (Animal Welfare Board of India)
- India is home to over 300 million cattle, with many more suffering in cruel conditions on farms and in zoos (FAO)
- The Indian leather industry is one of the largest in the world, with millions of animals killed every year for their skin (Council for Leather Exports)

As the Convener of the Cow Development Cell, West Bengal, my thought for the day is:

Can we truly call it a "choice" when it comes at the cost of an innocent animal's life? How can this be justified? It defies all logic!

A "choice" is when we select a glass, a chair, or any inanimate object - not a living being! Who are we to decide to abuse, torture, and slaughter innocent creatures?

I invite you to join the Kind and Gentle Movement, which embodies the values of Love, Empathy, Kindness, Compassion, Sympathy, and Mercy. Let us awaken our conscience today and recognize that it's never too late to embrace kindness.

Save the Cow Progeny: Embracing Compassion and Wisdom

As the convener of the Cow Development Cell, West Bengal, I am compelled to raise awareness about the imperative need to protect our cow progeny. The indiscriminate consumption of beef and its by-products has severe repercussions on human health, the environment, and animal welfare.

Medical science has unequivocally established the detrimental effects of consuming beef and its derivatives. The high levels of saturated fats, cholesterol, and antibiotics in beef can lead to cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and antibiotic resistance. Furthermore, the risk of contracting zoonotic diseases like mad cow disease and salmonellosis is significant.

Beyond the health implications, the environmental impact of the beef industry is staggering. Deforestation, water pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions are all direct consequences of cattle farming. The alarming rate of climate change and environmental degradation demands that we reevaluate our food choices.

It is essential to recognize that animals, including cows, possess thoughts, feelings, and relationships, just like humans. The brutal slaughter and exploitation of these innocent creatures for human consumption is morally reprehensible.

As a society, we must awaken from the brainwashing and programming that perpetuates animal cruelty, human illness, and environmental destruction. Embracing veganism and compassion towards all living beings is the need of the hour.

Let us join hands to protect our cow progeny and promote a culture of empathy, sustainability, and wisdom. Together, we can create a better world for all beings.

Note: Comments supporting animal cruelty, human illness, and environmental destruction will not be tolerated.

As a voter of

Today we need a change in leadership !?..

..

politics is indeed facing a crisis of leadership, and a change is imperative. The recent allegations against Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Lovely Khatun, accused of being a Bangladeshi infiltrator, have raised concerns about the party's integrity . This incident highlights the need for a new leader who can restore trust and credibility.

Moreover, the 's dominance in West Bengal's political landscape has led to internal power struggles and external pressure. A change in leadership could bring fresh perspectives and ideas, revitalizing the party and addressing the state's pressing issues.

The , being a prominent opposition party, has been vocal about the need for a change in leadership. However, it's crucial for any new leader to have a strong vision for the state's development and welfare.

In this context, a leadership shake-up in the West Bengal could also reshape the state's political dynamics . A new leader with a strong track record and commitment to the people's welfare could make a significant difference.

Ultimately, West Bengal needs a leader who can unite the people, address their concerns, and drive progress. The current leadership has failed to deliver on these fronts, making a change imperative.

Narendra Modi's dream of a $3 trillion economy is an ambitious goal that aims to propel India to the third-largest economy in the world. According to Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh, India is expected to emerge as the world's third-largest economy during Modi's third term as Prime Minister.

My fellow Indians, today's political landscape in our country is undergoing a profound transformation. A new era is emerging, where leaders are being held accountable for their promises.

However, alongside this change, we're also witnessing the rise of divisive forces that seek to fragment our society. These forces must be countered, and we must remain vigilant.

To overcome these challenges, we must stand united. We must demand accountability from our leaders and work collectively to strengthen our society. The time has come for us to reclaim our nation's narrative and forge a brighter future for ourselves and generations to come.

On the economic front, India is poised to become a global powerhouse. Our GDP is growing at a rapid pace, with a projected growth rate of 6.5% in 2024, making us the 5th largest economy in the world, surpassing the UK. Our nominal GDP has already crossed $2.7 trillion, and we're witnessing unprecedented investments in infrastructure, technology, and human capital.

However, we must also address the pressing issues of income inequality, job creation, and environmental sustainability. According to the World Bank, India's poverty rate has declined from 45% in 1993 to 6% in 2020. But we still have a long way to go, with over 80 million people living below the poverty line.

Our defense system is also undergoing a significant modernization drive. We're strengthening our military capabilities, enhancing our strategic partnerships, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to safeguard our national interests. India's defense budget has increased by 10% to $67.4 billion in 2024, making us the 3rd largest defense spender in the world.

As a responsible global player, India is increasingly making its presence felt on the world stage. Our diplomatic efforts are yielding positive results, from strengthening ties with major powers to fostering greater cooperation with our neighbors. We're also playing a key role in shaping global agendas on climate change, sustainable development, and international security.

According to the United Nations, India is the 4th largest contributor to the UN's peacekeeping operations, with over 7,000 troops deployed in 14 UN missions. We're also a key player in the Quad, a strategic grouping of India, the US, Japan, and Australia, aimed at promoting a free and open Indo-Pacific region.

However, with great power comes great responsibility. We must continue to promote our values of democracy, diversity, and inclusivity, while also addressing global challenges such as poverty, inequality, and social injustice.

Let us join hands to build a more inclusive, equitable, and just India – an India that embodies the values of our founding fathers and the aspirations of our people. An India that is a beacon of hope, a shining example of democracy, and a responsible global citizen.
