The F.U.N Project brings you another fun-filled *Saturday Activity Circle* this Saturday, August 22!

Story Time - 'Ramya's Snack Box' by C.G. Salamander
Art Time - Drawing, colouring and paper crafts
Game Time - 'Name, Place, Animal, Thing' and free play.

*Saturday Activity Circle - Seniors* ( ages 9-15; 2:30-4:00 pm)

Book Discussion - 'The Ice Monster' by David Walliams.
Group Discussion - Extinction and Endangered Species.
Art Time- Ink art.
Game Time - Scrabble and free play.

We may use water colours, glue, or coloured chalk during our art sessions. Participants, please come dressed for mess 🫟! Also, please mention allergies, if any, so we can plan our sessions accordingly.

*The Drama Club - August 16*
Today, we explored the theme of 'Silence'.

For our Activity Hour, we discussed the different modes of silent acting like Mime, Charades and Tableaux. We did a short skit called 'Kingly Silence' to demonstrate the effect of dramatic silence.

Following this, we did multiple fun-filled rounds of Tableaux and Charades, with non-participants having to guess what the scene was. The kids had great fun enacting scenes like A Birthday Party, Finishing Line Of A Race, Roller Coaster etc. 😀

For Drama Hour, our kids had already learned their lines earlier, so we could jump right in and set stage positions and integrate sound effects. We had great fun rehearsing with the dinosaur sound effects, props and costumes. Our kids were so efficient in rehearsals we found ourselves with some spare time during which they requested to do art. We brought out our art supplies and they spent some quiet time drawing and colouring.

Feeling recharged after the quiet art time, we went in for our final performance, inviting parents from the library to be our audience. You were patient and enthusiastic audience members, sitting through our final play and a few rounds of Tableaux and Charades where you sportingly guessed each scene the kids presented 👍😍
