Glimpses from the Meeting of Second Sub-Committee of the Committee of Parliament
on Official Language during inspection of Institute of Hotel Management,
Thiruvananthapuram held on 22nd April 2026, at Kochi.

We are proud to share that the team from IHM
Kovalam actively participated in the proceedings, showcasing our commitment to promoting and implementing the Official Language.

Our Principal, Dr. T. Anantha Krishnan, and Accounts-cum-Admin Officer, Mr. Sunil Ignatious & Ms. Girija Kumari DT, Official Language Consultant represented the Institute and successfully completed the Inspection.

Ms. Promodita Sathish, Economic Advisor & Mr. Goutam R, AD (OL) from MoT, Delhi were also present during the Inspection. A proud moment for all of us as we contribute to the nation’s linguistic and administrative initiatives.

Promoting a Safe & Respectful Work Environment!

The Internal Committee of the Institute hosted an awareness talk on the POSH Act 2013 for our staff members, led by Adv. Sreeja Sasidharan, Chairperson of the POSH Local Committee, Trivandrum. The session, conducted with the support of SANKALP under Mission Shakti, Ministry of Women and Child Development, was highly interactive and engaging, encouraging open discussions and active participation.
Through initiatives like these, we continue to strengthen a workplace culture built on equality, empathy, and mutual respect.
