Aamra Prabashi has come of age in terms of participation, growth and recognition. The most remarkable milestone is that we have grown rapidly to one big family of 275 member families and even though it has become more cosmopolitan over the years, we keep the Bengali culture and traditions alive. Cultural programs and festivities (Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja, Kali Puja, Saraswati Puja) organized by the club are never limited to the Bengali community or Hiranandani Estate residents. The celebrations are open to people from all walks of life. We are also in the endeavor to start a ladies and a youth wing, establish a Bengali library and a school for promoting Bengali culture in order to get the younger generation better acquainted with their roots. Aamra Prabashi does a lot to keep its social commitments. We provide food, garments, fruits sweets and chocolates to the little children of Mobile Creche of Hiranandani Estate (NGO). A handsome amount is donated every year for the well being of Pranab Kanya Sangha, an organization under Bharat Sevasram Sangha- taking care of the destitute girl children from across the country. Blood Donation Camps are organized regularly in the Estate in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society & Tata Memorial Hospital and we are donating fairly large yearly contributions to the Global Charitable Organization like UNICEF & CRY. As a part of our efforts to promote 'education to all' we financially support needy students to complete their vocational studies for taking up professional jobs and support their families. Every year we also felicitate the meritorious students of Hiranandani Foundation School who have topped the board examinations of ICSE and ISC , as an effort to promote excellence in education inside the estate. Aamra Prabashi – Standing Together in Times of Need

Aamra Prabashi has always believed in extending a helping hand to those in need. Whether during the COVID-19 pandemic or during floods and other natural calamities in the past, our members and wellwishers have always come forward with generosity and compassion.

This year too, as we are aware, Assam and Maharashtra have been severely affected by floods, leaving many families in distress and in urgent need of support.

We sincerely appeal to all our members and the community at large to kindly come forward and make a voluntary contribution of whatever amount you are comfortable with. Every contribution, big or small, can make a meaningful difference.

All donations will be collected through a dedicated bank account and will be utilised specifically towards flood relief efforts.

Over the past two years, Aamra Prabashi Thane has been privileged to support the students of Signal Shala, Teen Haat Naka through various initiatives.

This year, we started our engagement with them with the distribution of raincoats for the students and donation of books for their school library.

The members of Prabashi Bondhu, the social welfare arm of Aamra Prabashi Thane also had a great time interacting with the bright little stars of Signal Shala school.

We look forward to continuing our efforts in helping their students in their academic journey.
