Shri N.Tam, IFS Chief Wildlife Warden (CWLW), accompanied by the Shri Milo Tassar, IFS Conservator of Forests (CF), Shri Tajum Yomcha, Research Officer, Headquarter , undertook an official visit to Kamlang Tiger Reserve to review ongoing conservation initiatives and to appreciate the pristine natural beauty of the landscape.
During the visit, the team explored the reserveβs remarkable biodiversity through activities such as trekking, butterfly watching, and birdwatchingβgaining valuable insights into the diverse flora and fauna that make Kamlang an ecological treasure.
The officials also interacted with members of the Special Tiger Protection Force (STPF) and other field staff, commending their unwavering dedication to wildlife protection and habitat management. Meaningful discussions were held on addressing field challenges, refining conservation strategies, and setting future goals for enhancing protection measures within the reserve.
The programme concluded on an inspiring note, with the CWLW extending best wishes to the entire Kamlang Tiger Reserve team for their continued commitment and success in safeguarding the regionβs rich natural heritage.
