On dated 08.04.2026, Institute Level Skill Competition was successfully conducted at Govt. ITI PWD Sundernagar. Trainees from all trades participated actively and displayed their practical and technical skills with great enthusiasm.

The event was organized to promote skill excellence, confidence, and healthy competition among trainees. Principal Er. Vijay Kumar appreciated the efforts of all participants and motivated them to perform even better in upcoming district and state level competitions.

The session guided trainees about recruitment, eligibility, and opportunities in the Agniveer scheme. Trainees showed great enthusiasm and participation.

On dated 24.03.2026, a TB Awareness Program was successfully organized at Govt. ITI PWD Sundernagar.

The program aimed to spread awareness about Tuberculosis (TB), its causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment. Students and staff actively participated and learned the importance of early diagnosis and maintaining good health practices.

Such initiatives play a vital role in building a healthier and informed society. Let us all contribute towards a TB-free India.

दिनांक 28 फरवरी 2026 को राजकीय औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थान (PWD) सुंदरनगर, जिला मंडी (हिमाचल प्रदेश) में एक क्विज़ प्रतियोगिता का सफल आयोजन किया गया।

इस प्रतियोगिता में प्रश्न तीन भागों के माध्यम से पूछे गए –
1️⃣ सामान्य ज्ञान (GK)
2️⃣ हिमाचल प्रदेश सामान्य ज्ञान (HP GK)
3️⃣ विज्ञान एवं आईटीआई ट्रेड से संबंधित मूलभूत प्रश्न

प्रतियोगिता में टीम 1 से टीम 10 तक कुल 10 टीमों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। सभी प्रतिभागियों ने शानदार प्रदर्शन किया और ज्ञानवर्धक वातावरण में प्रतियोगिता संपन्न हुई।

इस प्रतियोगिता में टीम नंबर 8 ने उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करते हुए विजेता (Winner) का स्थान प्राप्त किया।

इस अवसर पर संस्थान के प्रधानाचार्य Er. Vijay Kumar ने विद्यार्थियों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि इस प्रकार की प्रतियोगिताएं विद्यार्थियों के ज्ञान, आत्मविश्वास और प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक भावना को बढ़ाने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाती हैं। उन्होंने सभी प्रतिभागियों को बधाई दी तथा भविष्य में भी इस प्रकार की गतिविधियों में बढ़-चढ़कर भाग लेने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

दिनांक 19.02.2026 को Government ITI PWD Sundernagar, District Mandi में उद्यमिता विकास जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया।

इस अवसर पर सहायक निदेशक अभिषेक शर्मा, सुश्री स्वेता ठाकुर (विस्तार अधिकारी, सुंदरनगर), सुश्री राजश्री शर्मा तथा Punjab National Bank से वरिष्ठ प्रबंधक अपूर्व रंजन उपस्थित रहे।

कार्यक्रम के दौरान अतिथियों ने प्रशिक्षुओं को Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) के अंतर्गत संचालित विभिन्न योजनाओं की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने स्वरोजगार, ऋण सुविधा, सब्सिडी तथा बैंकिंग प्रक्रियाओं के बारे में विस्तार से बताया और युवाओं को आत्मनिर्भर बनने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

अंत में संस्थान के प्रधानाचार्य ईर. विजय कुमार ने सभी अतिथियों का आभार व्यक्त किया तथा प्रशिक्षुओं को सरकारी योजनाओं का लाभ उठाकर सफल उद्यमी बनने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

On dated 16.02.2026, a Campus Cleanup Drive was successfully organized at our ITI campus. All trainees and staff members actively participated in the activity with great enthusiasm and team spirit.

Everyone worked together to clean the campus premises, collect waste, and promote a clean and green environment. The main objective of this initiative was not only to maintain cleanliness but also to spread awareness about hygiene and environmental responsibility.

This collective effort reflects our commitment towards a “Clean Campus – Healthy Life.”

On 13.02.2026, the trainees of Govt. ITI PWD Sundernagar had an informative and inspiring exposure visit to Indian Institute of Technology Mandi (Kamand Campus).

During the visit, students explored advanced laboratories, research facilities, and also visited IIT Mandi Catalyst – A Technology Business Incubator. They gained valuable insights into innovation, startup development, mentorship, incubation support, and the startup ecosystem.

We sincerely thank Mr. Kushal Deep Jagota (Associate, IIT Mandi Catalyst) and Ms. Rewati Lal (Executive, IIT Mandi Catalyst) along with the supporting staff for their valuable guidance, interaction, and warm hospitality. Their motivation and expert insights greatly inspired our trainees.

Such exposure visits play a significant role in enhancing technical knowledge, promoting entrepreneurship, and motivating students towards higher education and innovation.
