ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ‘ਚ ਕੂੜਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਚੁਣੌਤੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ ਐਨਟੀਪੀਸੀ ਨਾਲ ਭਾਈਵਾਲੀ ਕਰਕੇ ‘ਵੇਸਟ-ਟੂ-ਐਨਰਜੀ ਪਲਾਂਟ’ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫ਼ੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਪਟਿਆਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਦਿਨ 600 ਟਨ ਕੂੜੇ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਾਜੈਕਟ ਲਈ ਅਸੀਂ 50 ਏਕੜ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਵੀ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਵਾਂਗੇ।

As we enter a new decade, waste management has become a big challenge. We’ve decided to partner with NTPC for setting up a waste-to-energy plant which will process 600 tonnes of waste per day generated in Mohali & Patiala. The State Government will provide 50 acres of land for the project.

ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਦਿਨ 13 ਦਸੰਬਰ 2001 ਨੂੰ ਸੰਸਦ ‘ਤੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਮਲੇ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਸੀਂ ਪ੍ਰਣਾਮ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਸ ਤੇ ਬਹਾਦਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਮ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਜੋ ਹਰ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਾਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ।
