Kund, May 6: PDP Block President Gull Mohd Tantary on Wednesday attended an important meeting of party Halqa Presidents at Karloo village in Kund, Devsar constituency. The meeting witnessed the participation of several senior party workers, reflecting a strong organizational presence and unity within the party.

Devsar 02 May :- Party Vice President Mohd Sartaj Madni has urged the district administration to immediately depute a team for the prompt assessment of orchards and standing crops that have been severely damaged due to the recent heavy hailstorm in the Kund area. He emphasized that the unexpected weather has caused widespread destruction, leaving farmers and orchardists in distress, as their livelihoods largely depend on these seasonal yields.

He further stressed the urgent need for a timely and transparent evaluation process, followed by the provision of adequate compensation to those affected. Highlighting the gravity of the situation, he called upon the authorities to act swiftly so that the losses suffered by the farming community are fairly addressed, ensuring necessary relief and support during this difficult time.

Expressing deep concern over the losses suffered by farmers and orchardists, Tantary urged the district administration to act swiftly by deputing teams to the affected areas for on-ground evaluation. He emphasized that many families in the region are heavily dependent on horticulture and agriculture for their livelihood, and the sudden calamity has put them under immense financial stress.
