masters the art of exploiting people for their pity gains, but these will register a shameful defeat of for three simple reasons:
1. They haven't delivered what they promised in the last elections
2. Whenever they were elected to responsible offices, Kashmir witnessed deadly phases of death and destruction. Whether willingly or unwillingly they have been a company to all the political disturbances in kashmir.
3. History has proved them to be grossly incapable of ensuring peace and progress of the valley

It was a mid February evening. Ahmed had finished off his dinner and was sitting around a fire place with his children, narrating them stories of his youth when there was nothing to fear. His son Irfan kept watching the long and funny shadows the fire made on the wall opposite to them. Baba, "look at the dancing shadows". Ahmed looked at it and made the shadows dance more to the giggling laugh of his 8 year old son. The moonlit snow shined through the gloomy windows.
While the family was preparing for the bed, the dogs outside started barking. They doused the fire and sneaked into the bed out of fear. Someone walked in the lawn, it could be heard from the crumbling snow. Ahmed tried to comfort his wife and children, but he knew someone was there.
Suddenly he heard a sound calling his name, "open up, I am shabir". it was a friend from his work.
Ahmed took a breath of relief and opened the door. They called him outside. Ahmed asked his wife to keep the door open for his return.
They door never closed for Ahmed, Irfan kept searching his father in the shadows of dark, but to no end. Never did they know that Ahmed was not going to return.
