J&K People’s Conference senior leader Muhammad Khurshid Alam Sahib briefing media about the meeting held with the De-Limitation Commission Govt Of India. Alam was a part of the JKPC Delegation that met the Commission. While speaking to the media reporters Alam said, “We have told the panel that no steps should me taken that would further alienate the people of J&K. The de limitation exercise should only be done as per the population not as per the Lands, Deserts and stones”.

Pained and shocked over the desecration of Jamia Masjid's pulpit by few goons masquerading as protestors: Khurshid Alam

Such a sadistic act is not only shocking for us as Muslims only but as Humans as well.
Jamia Masjid has always been since centuries an epicenter of emotions and hopes for the agonized people of Kashmir.
It's desecration is a direct attack on people's collective conscience. We as a society are duty bound to expose and ridicule in unison the savages and feekless sycophants who are behind such shameful act.

Once again I condemn such an action that deserves severe outrage and will find no societal acceptance in any civilized society anywhere in the world.

Hon’ble MLC and PDP District President Srinagar Muhammad Khurshid Alam expressed deep anguish and displeasure against Police action on female mourners and termed them as “our daughters” . Alam wrote on his Facebook :-
“Very unfortunate , inhuman . Unethical and immoral. This act of police brings down the image of the police force in general who are already facing a lot of mistrust among the people. Governor Satyapal Malik DG police and DG law and order should take action immediately against the officers who allowed this brazen atrocitiy on our daughters who where in religious mournings and not in any Anti state protest. I condemn this act with all the strongest words at my command”.
