Residents of Brein Nishat, near the famous Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, are facing severe difficulties during the ongoing tulip season due to heavy traffic congestion on the Boulevard Road along Dal Lake.
Locals say that the influx of tourists leads to long traffic jams, causing inconvenience in daily life, delays in emergencies, and disruption of routine activities.
The residents have urged the government to take immediate action and approve the construction of a four-lane road on the Boulevard stretch to ease traffic pressure and ensure smooth movement for both locals and visitors.
They emphasized that this issue becomes critical every year during the tulip bloom season and requires urgent attention from the authorities
