In times of crisis, history quietly records who stood firm and who chose silence.
Today, I express my deep respect and salute to a courageous mother-daughter duo — Mehbooba M***i and Iltija M***i — for standing with Iran during a difficult and sensitive time. When many preferred to remain silent or take a convenient position, they chose to speak openly and take a stand based on their principles.
It is not easy in today’s political environment to voice an opinion that may go against dominant narratives. It requires courage, conviction, and a sense of responsibility. Whether one agrees or disagrees with their views, the willingness to stand for what they believe in deserves acknowledgment.
Leadership is not only about holding positions of power; it is about showing moral clarity when it matters the most. Moments like these define character and leave a lasting impression.
Respect for those who stand by their words, even when it is not the easiest path.
