One more long-pending grievance has finally been resolved by the Greater Shah-re-Khaas team led by Faheem Reshi.
We express our sincere gratitude to the EXN, Irrigation Department for taking action and cleaning the irrigation canal after decades of neglect at Shunglipora, Rather Mohallah.
This area had been consistently ignored for years, especially by the concerned MLA of Eidgah, leaving poor residents to suffer. Today’s action is a step toward justice for the people.
Faheem Reshi and his team stand firmly with the people of Eidgah. On the ground, team leaders Ishfaq Shah and Arsalan Pandit ensured proper supervision of the work.

Public Appeal to the People of Eidgah
I humbly request all residents of Eidgah—especially our youth and respected senior citizens—to come together and protect the sanctity and heritage of our Eidgah.
The member shareefof Eidgah and the facilities at the Nimaaz Grounds are not just structures—they are our shared identity, our pride, and our collective responsibility. Damaging lights or any property of the Member Shareef is not only a loss to infrastructure, but a loss to our own community.
Waqf authorities are doing commendable work, but it is equally our duty to safeguard these assets.
🔹 Let us act responsibly
🔹 Let us protect our religious and community spaces
🔹 Let us set an example for future generations
I also request the Hon’ble Waqf Chairperson to ensure that CCTV cameras at Member Shareef are fully functional, so that such incidents can be prevented.

It is alleged that Umar Wani, the BJP General Secretary for the Eidgah constituency, is damaging the reputation of the party through his actions. According to complaints from local residents, he misuses the BJP’s name to extort money from people. He reportedly makes false accusations of illegal soil mining and tells individuals that the matter will be “settled” if they pay him money. It is further alleged that he blackmails people by uploading videos and has recently demanded money from a poor auto driver.

JKNPF Promotes Sports & a Drug-Free Lifestyle!

Today, at Shunglipora, Palpora (Srinagar), a spirited cricket match brought together youth and community leaders in the fight against drugs.

JKNPF President Shri Jasif Ahmed Khan, Media Head Shri Faheem Reshi Sahib, and Youth President Shri Shiraz Pandit graced the event as Chief Guests, motivating young players toward discipline, teamwork, and a healthy life through sports.

Three local youths were also honoured and joined JKNPF, symbolizing a new chapter of youth empowerment.
