*Post-Parak Intervention: A Synergistic Capacity Building Initiative*

Under the visionary leadership of Madam Anjum Raja, District Education and Planning Officer, Srinagar, the Cluster Head, GHSS Khanyar, in collaboration with its dynamic Principal, Mtr Wahida, orchestrated a one-day capacity building programme on Competency-Based Learning (CBL) for all schools under the Khanyar cluster.

This epochal event, held on 21:02:2026 witnessed the convergence of Heads of Institutions (HOIs), teachers from primary, middle, and high schools, who participated in the programme with unbridled enthusiasm.

The proceedings were illuminated by the erudite discourse of District Resource Person, Lubna Khan, who meticulously elucidated the nuances of CBL, NCF-FS, NCF-SC, and Learning Outcomes. Her explication, replete with clarity and precision, left the participants gratified and edified.

The participants, comprising HOIs and teachers from diverse educational strata, expressed unalloyed satisfaction with the manner in which the District Resource Person explicated the CBL paradigm, evincing a deepened understanding of the subject matter.

The programme culminated with a thoughtful vote of thanks, eloquently delivered by Miss Wahida Sheikh, Principal, GHSS Khanyar, who lauded the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders in making the event a resounding success.

CEO Srinagar Reviews Academic Progress in Zone Rainawari

Srinagar, February 17, 2026: In a significant step towards strengthening academic standards, Chief Education Officer Srinagar, Mr. Ghulam Mohi ud din Bhat, convened a comprehensive review meeting in Zone Rainawari at Government Higher Secondary School Khanyar. The meeting was hosted under the guidance of Madam Waheeda Sheikh, Principal GHSS Khanyar and Incharge ZEO Rainawari, reflecting the district administration’s firm commitment to educational excellence.

Representatives from 31 primary, middle and high schools of the zone participated in the deliberations. The CEO held detailed one-to-one interactions with school representatives, carefully listening to their concerns and addressing key issues related to the teaching-learning process.

The proactive leadership of the CEO and ZEO Rainwari was widely appreciated for bringing renewed focus and direction to academic activities across the zone. Their efforts have strengthened coordination, motivated educators and fostered a positive academic environment.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Mateen of GHSS Khanyar, who appreciated the leadership for their continued support and vision. Participants left with renewed enthusiasm and a collective resolve to further enhance the quality of education in Zone Rainawari.

Children’s Day celebration by ZEO Rainawari
A grand function for the celebration of Children’s Day was organized by Zonal Education Office Rainawari in the auditorium of GHSS Nowhatta. The event was graced by Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. Tassaduq Hussain Mir as Chief Guest. DSEK was accompanied by Deputy Chief Education Officer Srinagar, Mtr. Anjum Raja. All the Principals of Higher Secondary Schools, Headmasters of High Schools and HoIs of Middle and Primary Schools attended the function including the students from these schools.
Principal BHSS Nowpora Mr. Muhammad Usman Malik who also holds the charge of ZEO Rainawari welcomed all the guests and children in particular on this day. Students from various schools of the zone enthralled the audience with their cultural programmes. Worthy DSEK gave a standing ovation to many programmes presented by children.
In his address DSEK, Dr. Tassaduq Hussain Mir expressed his joy over the cultural presentations by the students and appreciated them by saying that these programmes presented real reflections of Kashmiri Culture. He further added that today he felt the reason why Shehr-e-Khas is called so, because it is really Khaas.
In the end DSEK himself distributed sweets among the students and interacted with them. The function ended with a vote of thanks presented by HoI GMS Saidakadal.
