The Bund ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ THE BUND ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ The General Post Office, the government handicrafts emporium and a string of handicraft shops lies along the Bund.

The Bund, as it is popularly called, is a walkway extending from Zero Bridge to Badshah Bridge below, along the banks of the Jhelum River, in Srinagar. A stroll beside the lake, enjoying the breeze and the astounding beauty of the surrounding landscape with Doonga houseboats in the backdrop provides a pleasant experience.

I have a dream, a dream of an independent and United Kashmir. I have a dream that one day my nation will be free and ruled by it's own people. I have a dream that one day the whole nation of Kashmir will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed. I have a dream that one day our children shall sit by the Jhelum banks without the lurking fear of being shot. I have a dream that one day our Leaders shall address a massive crowd of smiling young people at the Clock Tower. A dream that this bruised paradise of mine shall one day reveal the essence of its being.
