On the blessed occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, I extend my heartfelt greetings to the people of Jammu & Kashmir and the entire nation.

Pir Panjal Forest Division Budgam continues its active participation in 100-Day Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Program. Under the theme “ Ek Ped Nashe Ke Virudh ” ( A Tree against Addiction) , Plantation –cum-awareness drive was successfully conducted by Pir-Panjal Forest Division Budgam in active collaboration with the faculty and students of Govt High school Khanpora , Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) Khanpora and Govt Middle School Zoorigund.
Plantation drives were carried out within the school premises of above mentioned schools symbolizing growth, health and a drug-free future for our youth. Forest Officials and School Managements interacted with the students, emphasizing the role of healthy , green environment in steering the younger generation away from substance abuse. The enthusiastic participation of school children and faculty highlighted the collective resolve of the community to fight the menace of drugs.
Pir Panjal Forest Division remains committed to nurturing both our environment and our youth for a brighter, healthier tomorrow. The events concluded with a collective Vow to protect our Forests and our future generations for the menace of drugs.
