This stretch serves as a vital route for major religious processions like Majlis-e-Asad and Muharram, where lakhs of people participate. Constructing a gate at such a crucial point may lead to serious inconvenience and raise safety concerns for the general public.
It is requested that the concerned authorities immediately halt the construction work and assess the situation on the ground.
While beautification initiatives like gates and parks are appreciated, they should not come at the cost of public safety and smooth movement. Development must be practical, inclusive, and people-friendly.
