What a farewell to a man who chose conviction over convenience.

Tariq Hussain Naik Sahib, you challenged authority stood your ground and took decisions even when powerful interests were involved. You may have paid a price for that courage but you have earned something far more enduring respect.

Transfers can change a chair. Orders can change a department. But courage, integrity and the decisions taken in public interest remain part of an officer’s legacy.

History may forget many orders but it will remember the officers who had the courage to act when it mattered.

You leave Gulmarg with your office behind, but with your name and your courage firmly etched in its history.

Respect, always.
