On the blessed and most sacred night of Shab-e-Qadr, Shri Raquib-ul-Rashid, State President, extend his heartfelt greetings to the entire Muslim Ummah.
Shab-e-Qadr, also known as the Night of Power, is the night when the Holy Qur’an was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). Allah (SWT) has described the عظمت of this night in Surah Al-Qadr, declaring that “Laylatul Qadr is better than a thousand months.” This means the worship of one night carries the reward of more than eighty-three years of ibadat.
It is a night filled with divine mercy, forgiveness, and countless blessings. On this blessed night, angels descend to the earth by the command of Allah (SWT), bringing peace and mercy until the break of dawn. It is the night when Allah opens the doors of forgiveness and accepts sincere repentance from His servants.
Therefore, we should dedicate this sacred night to prayer, recitation of the Holy Qur’an, remembrance of Allah (Zikr), charity, and heartfelt supplication (Dua). The most beautiful dua taught by Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for this night is:
“Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni.”
(O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love to forgive, so forgive me.)
Let this blessed night remind us of the values of humility, patience, compassion, and unity. May Allah (SWT) accept our prayers, forgive our sins, bless our homes with peace, and guide our society toward justice, harmony, and righteousness.
May this holy night bring light in our hearts, strength in our faith, and peace in our nation and the entire Ummah.
Shab-e-Qadr Mubarak to everyone.
