A few questions for Jamaat-e-Islami/JDF and Sayar Reshi (locally known as Sayar Qasai):

1. What is your current position on the abrogation of Article 370 and the restoration of special status for Jammu and Kashmir?

4. What is your official position on the advocacy of gun violence in the past?
5. What is your stance on the thousands of mainstream political workers killed in Kashmir for participating in elections?

7. Do you fully accept the Indian Constitution, or do you still seek the establishment of an Islamic state, as previously stated by your “Jamat Manshoor”?
8. Will you issue a public apology to the Kashmiri people for promoting divisive terms like *“Mardood”*, *“Tagoot”*, *“Gaddar”*, and *“Kafir”* against those who disagreed with you—terms that fueled violence and led to the deaths of innocents?
9. Do you condemn those who burned hospitals, schools, bridges, and government infrastructure in Kashmir under your influence?
10. Do you still label Jagmohan responsible for the Pandit exodus from Kashmir, or do you now acknowledge the role of militant groups, especially Hizbul Mujahideen, in the violence?
11. While still adhering to the claim that militancy arose due to the 1987 election rigging, do you not see that you are still justifying violence while giving free pass to Pakistan?
12. Can you publicly criticize the Pakistan Army and ISI for supporting militancy and violence in Kashmir, which has caused immense suffering to the local population?
13. Your former leader, Syed Salahuddin, is still the active leader of the HM and United Jihad Council. What are your current views on him and HM ?
14. In the recent past, Mr Sayar Reshi, You praised all the militants like Burhan Wani and Umar Ganie as in 2018 in Shoucz at Umar Ganie's funeral, you claimed that Umar Ganie was your proud product? Was this an admission of promoting militancy on your part?
Do you now regard them as Terrorists or Martyrs?
15. If you are participating in secular democratic elections, why do you use religious slogans, symbolism, and rhetoric—such as calling an election “a religious duty” or saying your mission is to "establish Islam”?
16. For JeI, JIHAD was once presented as the only solution to the Kashmir issue, as propagated by Abul Ala Maududi. Do you now consider it terrorism?
17. While in your programmes in Kulgam, you are constantly resorting to Islam for your political benefits, at the same time, you are doing secret dealings with RSS-BJP and their agencies!
What duplicity you are playing with Kashmiri people?
Kindly provide clear, official, and consistent responses to all the above questions.
