This naat was written in Persian by Mirwaiz Yusuf Shah RA (1894-1968) an eminent Islamic scholar of Kashmir. The Mirwaiz belongs to an illustrious family of Islamic scholars and clerics who preach at the Grand Mosque of Kashmir. Under the tutelage of Maulana Anwar Shah Kashmiri RA, Mirwaiz completed his education at Deoband. He later became the first person to translate the Quran in Koshur Language.

کس یا مصطفی فریاد رس بر حال زار من ببین باشد ز خجلت سرنگون بر حال زار من ببین کردم نظر در پیش و پس جز تو ندارم هیچ : بگزشته از حد زاریم جز تو که سازد یاریم از لطف کن دلداریم بر حال زار من ببین شرمنده و آواره ام پرونده و بیچاره ام دلخسته و جانپاره ام بر حال زار من ببین
