🚨 Breaking: Blue Origin’s New Glenn rocket exploded during a static fire test at Launch Complex 36 ahead of the NG-4 mission. The blast reportedly destroyed parts of the pad and knocked down the right-hand lightning protection tower completely.

Congratulations to taikonauts Zhu Yangzhu, Zhang Zhiyuan, and Li Jiaying on the successful mission! 🇨🇳

Payload specialist Li Jiaying, a computer science PhD, became the first astronaut from Hong Kong SAR to fly on a Shenzhou mission and the fourth Chinese woman ever to travel to space.

Liftoff! 🚀 A Rocket Lab Electron rocket launched the “Viva La StriX” mission at 9:30 a.m. UTC, sending Synspective’s ninth StriX radar satellite into sun-synchronous orbit.

The satellite will help monitor disasters, cities, and security in all weather conditions using advanced SAR technology. This was Rocket Lab’s 88th Electron mission, continuing a strong partnership with Synspective since 2020.
