This situation is regarded as deeply unfair to students and the general public.

With this, tomorrow will mark the first day of fasting, while the first Taraweeh prayers will be offered tonight.

A 17 year old Kashmiri shawl seller, Tabish Ahmed, was brutally assaulted in Dehradun not for any crime, but after being questioned about his identity.
He was earning an honest livelihood with his family when he was attacked, left injured with stitches and fractures.
This is the reality Kashmiri youth face outside their homeland: work becomes a risk, identity becomes a trigger, and survival becomes a crime.
Arrests and FIRs cannot wash away a deeper truth hate has been normalised, and silence has become policy.
Justice must go beyond paperwork. Accountability must go beyond statements.
