ACTIVITIES OF 77TH INDEPENDENCE DAY AT GAMMA UNIT, FOREST PROTECTION FORCE, K-07, BARAMULLA

The 77th Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic fervor and zeal at Gamma Unit Headquarter, Forest Protection Force, Baramulla. National Flag-hoisting ceremony was held in the wee hours today followed by the presentation of Appreciation Certificates to some employees of the Unit to recognise their outstanding Performance. Tricolor hoisting ceremonies were also held at Reporting Centre,FPF,Baramulla and Reporting Centre,FPF,Uri.

Continuing the 05 days Training programme to the 2019-Batch of Forestry students of SKUAST-K, Multi-prong Training sessions were organised today at Unit Headquarter, Forest Protection Force, Baramulla. Master Trainers of Forest Protection Force, Kashmir conducted Training sessions on the use of weapons, Jungle Survival activities, Martial Arts and Knot Making. Students showed their keen interest towards these activities and appreciated the efforts of Forest Protection Force, Baramulla in imparting such an effective training. Dr Khurshid Ahmad,HOD/Programme Co-ordinator, Wildlife Sciences Division, SKUAST-K was highly impressed with such an innovative training and applauded the role of Mr Irfan Rasool Wani(IFS) ,Joint Director, Forest Protection Force, Kashmir in organising such training programmes .

Response of Youth after the successful completion of 04-Days Training Camp organised with effect from 08th May to 11th May-2023 at Forest Protection Force, Hqr, Baramulla

Four days Training Cum Awareness Programme/event launched by Sh.Irfan Rasool Wani(IFS),Joint Director,Forest Protection Force,Kashmir under "Mission Life- For Environment" & "MY-Youth, My-Forests, My-Pride" concluded today organised at Gamma Unit Hqr,K-07, Baramulla.A total of 45 Youth from forest fringe areas of North Kashmir participated.These youth were deployed by all the Deputy Directors,FPF,North Kashmir from their jurisdictions. Apart from Sports Training imparted by a National level Coach/Assistant Director,FPF- Mr Manzoor Ahmad Dar, Environment Awareness programmes were also organised in which Deputy Directors,FPF,North Kashmir conducted interactive sessions.Participating Youth and others took part in a Joint Pledge under the "Life Mission Campaign". Participation cm Merit Certificates were awarded to all the participating Youth by the Deputy Directors.. Also, Certificates of Appreciation were also awarded to deserving employees of FPF Units of North Circle.

Today Four days mega event under My-Youth My-Forests My-Pride and Mission Life Campaign was declared open by Mr Irfan Rasool Wani(IFS),Joint Director,Forest Protection Force,Kashmir at Unit Hqr,Forest Protection Force,Baramulla in which 38 Youth residing in the fringe forest villages from whole of the North Kashmir region participated. In the presence of all Deputy Directors,FPF,North Kashmir, Joint Director briefed about the importance of Mission Life of Environment launched by MoEFCC, Government of India on 2nd May-2023 and laid stress on Healthy Lifestyles. Four days event includes the Training Programme on Sports particularly Cricket and also Environment Awareness sessions.Organising body headed by a prominent cricket coach,Mr Manzoor Ahmad Dar,who is also a member(AD) of Forest Protection Force has been nominated to impart the training .

This is to inform with great sorrow and grief that Jenab Altaf Hussain Lone, Employee of Forest Protection Force, Baramulla left for heavenly abode in the evening hours today after a brief illness. *Inna Lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un*
May Allah rest his soul in eternal peace and grant patience to his family to bear this irreparable loss.
